What emotion do you tend to minimize or dismiss?


Some feelings feel easier to push aside — especially if we learned early on that they were inconvenient or “too much.”


All emotions have a purpose. Noticing them without judgment can be powerful.


Food for thought:


  • When did you learn to downplay this emotion?

  • What messages did you receive about it?

  • What might change if you allowed it space?


All emotions serve a purpose, even the uncomfortable ones.


Therapy offers a space to explore emotions safely and at your own pace.
