Emotional Awareness Vol. 1

What emotion have you been pushing aside lately?
Sometimes we move through life on autopilot, staying busy while quietly setting feelings aside. This doesn’t mean anything is “wrong;” it often means you’ve been doing your best to cope.
If an emotion keeps resurfacing when things slow down, it may be asking for your attention, not your judgment.
Food for thought:
What feeling keeps resurfacing when things slow down?
When did you first notice this emotion?
What might it be asking for your attention right now?
Sometimes naming an emotion without fixing it is an important first step.
If you’re in Michigan and want support exploring emotional patterns, therapy can offer a safe, steady space to do so.
